Privacy policy

We collect information you provide directly: name, email, state, court case details, and financial information for payment processing. We also collect usage data to improve the platform.

Your information is used to verify your identity, process contributions, display your aid request to potential supporters, and communicate with you about your account and platform updates.

Evidence vault contents, communication logs, and visitation records are encrypted and accessible only to you. Admin access requires a documented reason and is logged for audit purposes.

Court documents uploaded for verification are stored privately and are used for verification only. They are reviewed by our verification team and are never published or displayed to contributors or any other user.

To review eligibility, authorized reviewers compare the legal name verified by Stripe with the Stripe payout recipient, private bank-ownership evidence, and the person named in the court record. We retain the verification result, provider references, necessary legal names, masked bank details, evidence versions and review history in private records. These details are not part of a public campaign or share preview.

Bank-ownership proof should show your legal name, bank name and only the last four account digits. Redact full account numbers, balances, transactions and unrelated personal information before uploading. Enter identity documents, Social Security information and full bank details directly in Stripe when required; do not include them in campaign text or messages.

Public request pages show only what a father chooses to share: a first name (or a withheld name if he requests anonymity), his state, his case stage, his story, and his itemized budget. We instruct fathers not to include case numbers, children’s names, or other parties’ personal details in their public story.

We use Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for email communications. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Account deletion includes removal of all private data within 14 days. Contribution and payment records may be retained where required for financial compliance.
